- because I like to be modest and I like to be fashionable and it's quite difficult to do in 100 degrees and 80% humidity
- humidity and frizzy hair
- air conditioning bills, in winter you can pile more on, but you can only take so much off
- and most importantly... when my fruit roll ups stick to the wrapper leaving me looking like a crazed grizzly bear mauling the wrapper trying to get my 50 calories of blissful goodness

just a few reasons I hate summer

I hear you sister! Except for the fruit roll up part- haven't tried that. But yes- I'm not a big fan of summer, especially living in Florida.
ReplyDeleteAH ha ha ha! I know what you mean about the fruit roll ups. I had that problem yesterday! But I just stuck it in front of the AC in the car (we were driving) and it was easy to pull off in about 10 seconds. I bet a quick pop in the freezer would work equally well. :)
ReplyDeleteBut on the other stuff...I'm the opposite. Summer here is like Winter in the south. So it's pretty much perfect right now. 80 degrees, and dry, and cool nights where you can sleep with the window open. Move here! We can be buddies! :)
my big one there would be the frizzy hair thing. because i was blessed with curly hair. even de frizzer stuff only lasts so long.
