I've been compared to a lot of things in my life, among my favorites have been:
A Mary Engelbreit Painting
An O with an exclamation point (O!)
A drama queen
I've been called:
fiery
frisky
feisty
spunky
a spitfire
but I think the thing that describes me best of all would be this quote
"I am tolerant, compassionate, and bossy---probably the result of having been lucky all my life. I have, since childhood, always felt the strong support of family and friends---so strong that it has prevented me dwelling on my numerous shortcomings because it's shown me that my shortcomings are acceptable to those I care about."
---from The Cloister Walk by Kathleen Norris
I had a difficult childhood, but mostly I had a lot of love. From my mom, my grandpa, my close friends, and teachers.
I forget sometimes that I am worthy of love. I live in fear that someone, someday, will find out something about me and decide I'm not worth it anymore.
It has happened before, in the past 10 years I thought I was over it. I thought my self-esteem had recovered. It has not.
So I am thankful today for someone posting this quote. It has helped me see that people do love me, otherwise my shortcomings would have made it near impossible for me to have accomplished things in school and at home (though they are rather small accomplishments lol).

I am glad you are blogging again, I enjoy reading what you write! I love you!
